Two Tennis Courts
With two tennis courts, members can enjoy social games on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings. We also participate in the occasional social matches between the other HV Clubs and neighbouring Tennis Clubs. Helderberg Village boasts a very active Bowls Club with members of all ages and abilities playing together every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoon. We welcome new seasoned players as well as new novices for whom some free club coaching is available, along with the use of club bowls. Read More
Four Swimming Pools
Relax and unwind at one of the four Pools (one of which is heated). A tranquil spot in which to soak up some of that gorgeous South African sun. Or just cool off in one of our gorgeous swimming pools after a few games of tennis or bowls.
A Croquet Lawn & Pavilion
The Helderberg Village Croquet Club is a lively and social group with members of all ages and is affiliated with the WCCA. Once a month we have a Social Sunday, where all the members get together for a fun filled day of croquet and snacks. Read More
Gymnasium (with Trainer)
We are a gym that specializes in senior fitness for both men and women but have people of all ages attending too. The Gym is owned and managed by myself, Dena Solomon and has the equipment for cardiovascular fitness and strength work.
Helderberg Village boasts a state-of-the-art Billard Room. Remember - You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.
Aqua-fit classes are available every week day, morning, afternoon and early evening. Availability and times on request. These classes are loved by all and give you a tremendous workout. Using music to inspire movement is great fun.
Yoga / Stretch & Tone
According to Yoga Journal, yoga postures (poses) that combine stretching exercises, controlled breathing, and relaxation techniques can help you reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and improve heart function.
